The “Mentor on the trail” program is a partnership with the Iditarod’s national program “Teacher on the trail”. Our goal is to partner with teachers to provide the most compelling drug education program possible. All of our “Mentors" have been trained in the art of “facilitation” and “experiential education”. Utilizing the nationally accredited curriculum “Stay on Track” we create a powerful learning environment. Our goal is to set youth up for success by teaching them “risk assessment” and empowering them to make smart choices so their life dreams and goals will be achieved.
